I definately remember "I Wanna Sex U Up" very well. I never cared for that song and the radio used to wear the hell out of it. Every time the radio played it and I heard the sample of Betty Wright saying "Now I know you not gonna sing that song", I thought to myself..."Now I know the DJ ain't gonna play that song.....again". One station in my area still plays it on a daily basis to this day. Andy is a four letter word.

It also sampled slick rick somewhat."to the tick tock u dont stop". So, so catchy. Hammer sampled that again on "dont stop", to better effect.

I fucking hated those songs when they were stinking up the airwaves. Bland, soulless R&B. "I Wanna Sex You Up" remains one of my least favorite songs EVER. Stupid "seduction" ballad, that is about as convincing as a Tom Cruise "I Love Katie" rant. To hear these OBVIOUSLY gay dudes sing about wanting to "sex up" a woman was so ridiculous, and I've already mentioned the innane lyrics of wanting to "do it 'til we both wake up". Crap, through and through. Do not hurry yourself in your spirit to become offended, for the taking of offense is what rests in the bosom of the stupid ones. (Ecclesiastes 7:9)

Some of those cuts are PE sounding. Huge sounding in other words. OH PLEASE TELL ME YOU'RE JOKING!!! Donnie was the "hiphop head" of NKOTB??? BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!!!! Some of the cuts on the Marky Mark album (snicker) were "Public Enemy Sounding"???? Next, you'll be trying to convince us of how Vanilla Ice was really inspired by NWA, and truly captured that sound! NKOTB and Marky Mark were wanna-be's, at best, and had about as much soul as Pat Boone (apologies to Pat Boone. He actually has more soul). Do not hurry yourself in your spirit to become offended, for the taking of offense is what rests in the bosom of the stupid ones. (Ecclesiastes 7:9)

OH DAMN! Hahahaha, yeah, I think part of their problem is their look. Unlike other boy bands, they only had one "cute" guy in the band. But all in all, they were good vocalists whose first CD was solid, even great. "I wanna sex you up" was the jam in the day... Certainly a cut above most of the boybands that followed them. (but maybe that ain't sayin much) Some people tell me I've got great legs...

That'd be Vanilla Ice's evil twin As far as vocal ability goes - they were really good. I'd say they were better than Boys II Men. Choice of song, producers, etc. - they were average to stinky-poo. Hahhahahahaha, that's what my friends and I used to say. They had all these lookalikes in tha damn group LOL, but some of their cuts were cool back in tha day. They definitely had great vocal ability. Tick tock ya don't stop.

And "all for love" is a retro lite number. "time and chance" had one of the best jam and lewis cuts aswell. "choose" is a gorgeous song. Their remix album has some nice cuts aswell. Yep yep. Pretty corny, but pretty talented too. at that New Kids pic.

And let not forget THE REAL reason for the successful debut of CMB: U know that the new jack city version is slightly different to the album version? The verses are sung differently. The new jack city version is more rnb. "wanna sex u up" is an rnb cut. Its a slowjam, that had the word "sex" in it, so kids like me thought it was really funny and raunchy.
