Cassius is considered French House, yes. If you wanna get deeper into the French House scene a really cool little compilation to check out would be Paris Is Sleeping Respect Is Burning, Vol. 2. Nice jewels on there by Romanthony, Stardust [a.k.a. Daft Punk], Chezere & We In Music.

Also, check out "My House In Montemartre" and Dimitri from Paris.

I added this because it's a good survey of classic French house of course you have the well known acts like Daft Punk and Cassius on here, but you also get "Intro" by Fred Falke & Alan Braxe. Go with this for classics and surefire winners. 3. Out of the three, this is probably one of the more soulful comps, Dimitri did not front.

If you wanna get underground, pick up some stuff from the F-Communication label (lot of their stuff is more electronic than disco). I will admit I like French House for its more disco-y elements because they really can recreate that sound well, but F-C gives it to ya.

One F.H. track that you need to check out is "Running" by Braxe and Falke. HOT.
