That was a good album. it was pop-fluff.....but then i guess Britney and NSync should be proud of their work too, ehh? sorry, IMHO she took a step back with her career by doing Inner Child....Steve McClain was setting her on the patch to be a serious artist in the vain of Janet..Discovery is mnpls funk at its best with mature and soulful slow tempo songs.... she dropped all that for sugary sweet and quick success..and she got it... and a quick career to go with it.... I feel that she kept the momentum going with Inner Child. ILYS and Silent Prayer was great stuff. Inner Child did sound like a lot of the stuff on the radio back then. For whatever reason, she just didn't try as hard to be a name in the industry so she faded into the background after Inner Child. Much like Tracie Spencer. Tracie and Shanice didn't try as hard to leave an impact in the '90s like Brandy and Monica did.

Currently, she has an album out an indie label called "Every Woman Dreams." She's pretty much forgotten on the pop map. R&B heads still remember her for who she was, but she's not gonna hit in this Ciara/Ashanti climate. Everyone's moved on. A future in gospel plays perhaps? Knock on Tyler Perry's door.

No 1/2 Steppin Can You Dance are ignored classics IMHO.. I use to love No 1/2 Steppin. I've heard a couple of tracks from the new album and their nice. She said her label didn't know what to do with her last effort Shanice which I thought was pretty solid. In a recent interivew she said I Love your Smile was really about her because people said she was always smiling. I always liked Shanice. My roommate from last semester had a couple of the Madea dvds and at the time I had never seen any of his stuff. So, I watched them and I just didn't see why they were so hilarious. To each his own, I guess. These plays just get old after a while. I do kinda wanna see this new one out called Girl He Aint Worth It The Manhattens are gonna be in it. I don't think Tyler has anything to do with this one though. looking for you in the woods tonight Switch FC SW-2874-2863-4789 (Rum&Coke)

thesexofit said: Its summer time an Iam rollin'. Not with tony M or kid and play, but with one of my first crushes Shanice. "i love your smile", the video, was all over MTV when I was very young. Looking at it now, it's a funny video. Some nice running man dancing from shanice too. And some pervy photographer keeps stalking her. Good tune. So breezy. Gotta be the drizza bone remix though. Give it up. This song hasn't dated

Nowadays, she's known more as being the wife of actor Flex from 'One on One' and having matching his/her automobiles. She's got talent up the wazoo and is still cute as hell.
One of my favorite cuts is 'Bet She's Got A Boyfriend' off the Discovery album. 'No half-Steppin' is cool, too. My author page: https://www.amazon.com/au...eretttruth

I did laugh out loud at the gun antics.

I have seen his plays through new DVD releases and I was really impressed by the first one I saw..."I Can Do Bad All By Myself"..then came "Meada's Class Reunion" which featured little of Meada and had nothing to do with her class reunion. And then I saw "Meada's Family Reunion"...boring as hell! Everything was beyond predictable and the laughther and heart was missing! I made the mistake of buying that one sight unseen along with "Diary..." the movie, which I liked quite a bit. He's pretty talented but he obivously knows Meada is what gets asses in the seats and I think to an extent, he doens't like the fact. Ok, way off topic!
