For me, it is Damien Rice all over again.

Two people have reminded me of his music by just saying stuff, so I was playing his (and Lisa's Hannigan's) music SO loud tonight.

I even sent Be My Husband to a new friend! I hope he likes it.

Road to Hell by Chris Rea - I bought the cassette version years ago when this was released and haven't listened to it in over a decade I'm sure. I stumbled across the disc in a second hand shop Saturday and haven't stopped listening to it.

I've been in a funk mode lately Cameo, Confunkshun, Slave. But my dad is really REALLY trying to get me to listen to the blues I just can't to depressing.

Lately, it's Nickel Creek. Their new album's coming out next month, so I'm kinda hyped about that. Also, I've been listening to Madonna more lately. I took about a year off from listening to her. Got tired of her for a while.

I will say the drum work of Tony Thompson of "Chic". When I heard some drum work that just stands out, more than twice, it was Tony on drums. I first took notice of him when I heard the "Power Station" LP in the 80's. Then I heard the just bananas drum work on Jody Watley's "Love Injection" and found it to be Tony's work. He's, imo one of if not the best drummers.
Now, that I'm improving my collection, I got to find more of his work.

And on a Power Station note: I'm going to be looking into more of Robert Palmer's work.
