Loved that album. But just bought a new one of b-sides and rarities that pretty much sucked. Did you ever pick up anything else by them that was good?

I always liked "Perfect Way". Miles loved it so much he redid it on "Tutu".

Perfect Way is the only song I know, and I do like it.

I love it, a 80s blue eyes soul masterpiece. where is NWF? smile , my favourite track is the reggae The Word Girl - if you like this album get the first Hipsway album, a soul-funk 80s scottish band.

Love that song.

Infact, the "provisions" album is better in my opinion. The tracks are so giddy and optimistic, except for patti biggrin

"85" has some excellent tracks too mind. I like "the word girl" aswell, but my fav is "small talk". I love the way the verses are arranged.

I Loved Hypnotize, The Word Girl, Perfect Way, Wood Beez and Boom! There She Was (which featured Roger "Zapp" Troutman on "vocoder" vocals)....btw, Scritti's producer, David Gamson, also produced Meshell Ndegeocello's first two albums, Plantation Lullabies, and Peace Beyond Passion...Meshell actually shows up playing Bass on Scritti Politti's last album, "Anomie & Bonhomie" (1999)

One of my favourite albums. "Anhomie & Bonhomie" was a big disappointment, however...
