I finally saw Duran Duran last night! It was a great fucking show! They played at the Jones Beach Theater and after years of missing them, I am finally treated to some great New Wave! I'll explain the details when I have more time later, but I just wanted to let everyone know. Especially to my New Wave friends here in the Non-Prince music forum. Cool...I'm still kicking myself for not going to see them in San Jose! "I would say that Prince's top thirty percent is great. Of that thirty percent, I'll bet the public has heard twenty percent of it." - Susan Rogers, "Hunting for Prince's Vault", BBC, 2015

Yes, they kick ass live! Do not hurry yourself in your spirit to become offended, for the taking of offense is what rests in the bosom of the stupid ones. (Ecclesiastes 7:9)

Awwww I'm so happy that you finally got to see them I can't wait to read your review. I wish they were coming back to the West Coast. I miss them already. BTW, love your avatar. "Funkyslsistah… you ain't funky at all, you just a little ol' prude"!

Yeah, I decided to bring back old Rio because she dances on the sand. You know, just like that river twisting through the dusty land.
