Do fans of other artists post hateful things about their fave music?

I've been on a few and haven't seen anything to the level of Prince "fans".

Do they HAVE to censure their fan sites because of it?

A lot of artist site forums (especially for contemporary artists) are dominated by juveniles who don't know their shit, so it's not really surprising.

This is totally off topic, but I love how everyone in this forum on the org has someone ELSE (besides Prince, or some random pic) that is their favorite artist for their avatar. Like just in this thread alone, I'm looking at Bob Marley, Hendrix, Jimmy Page , Janet's ass, and uh whatever the hell RipHer has for his.

Point of this thread was that it must suck that Prince feels MC HAS to be censored

what's funny to me are the non-fans who hang out on artist fansites for the sole purpose of pissing fans off.They spew nothing but negativity and start flame wars.These people are funny.I could never imagine wasting time on a fansite devoted to an artist that I don't even like.
