I just bought this classic album of Amazon --- Im in love with it-- I had it on tape, but my cousin siezed her old tapes a couple years ago.


This is a ghetto r&b classic--
For the 1st two tracks alone!













Just wanted to share

Classic. "Let's Be Alone" and "What About Us" are my faves.

All of Side 1 was the bomb, I still bump this!

I never brought it. What ever happened to JODECI?

They have a best of CD out now and I am playing it to death! one of the best groups of the 90s IMO

I loved this album when it came out but I haven't listened to it in years. I only remember Feenin'.

This is one of my all time favorite albums. There's not a song on there that I don't think I like. From "Cry For You" to "Feenin" to "In the Meanwhile", the songs just keep coming. Jodeci is my favorite group of all time!

Ooooo ooooo Diary of a Mad Band is my fave of all the Jodeci albums. What About Us is my fave song on the album...Ride and Slide, My Heart Belongs to You....shoot the whole first side of the tape (early 90's okay) didn't like their fast songs so I've never felt the need to flip the tape over.

I miss Devante's producing and songwriting, that and their style I thought set them apart from other similar groups at that time.

Jodeci was the shit...back in the day. this will prolly go down as one of my fave CD's i don't think there is a song on it i DON'T like...can't say that about many discs.


i gotta go listen to 'In The Meanwhile' now....

No doubt that Jodeci was the cream of the crop--


But they all fell HARD.

Jodeci was the only group to put out solid albums in the long stretch. i was seriously let down when they went off the map-- they deteriorated fr. the inside out. As i said, they fell victim to their own devices, much like the lackluster groups that i listed below them.

I love "in the meanwhile". I preferred them on the uptempo's, which is why the 3rd album is just mostly crap. Missy is on "sweaty". I love that cut too. I love all the uptempos they ever did. That album was maybe a lil' ahead of its time production wise.
