hey

Just bought red dirt girl today...after listening to it a couple of times I got into a little emylou nostalgia...have been playing her music all night, from the stuff with gram parson to her sometimes unfortunate duets with rondstad. But the conclusion is as it always is: that woman has a voice that's simpley unbelievable...she could read the dictionary and make it sound like verdi. I think she's one of those singers that should be a lot bigger than they are...how can a woman with a voice like that, with songwriting skills like that, with looks like that Not be at the level of, say, madonna or Janet. I for one think she's an amazing talent and if you haven't heard any of her music, you might as well call yourself illiterate. Anyone else here into her music? fav songs? best albums? let's hear it!
