Babyface is one of those artists whose music I'm not really into, but I just like the guy. Mayte appeared in his video "The Loneliness" last year. That song appears on the new album. | |

Yeah I got the Love Story album off the net. He made a good decision not to put it out cause it was pretty weak - it wouldve been a major disgrace to his discography and catalog. I still got the album for a collector's item though. Good lookin out on the cover - Ima blow it up and print it out. now that i look at this.it reminds me of either some ad for men's cologne or the men's relaxer kits. "Grown And Sexy"...The New Cologne By Babyface. Fashion Fair Has just launched a new line of men's cologne that will be backed up by some of the most sexiest men in R&B..The fashion Fair team has also contacted Eric Benet and Maxwell To expand their line in the hopes of attracting more customers..so far on the roster are Brian McKnight,Van Hunt,Joe, and Dave Hollister. The New Line Should Be out in stores by 2007. and if you've read this far..... WHAT CD WERE YOU LISTENING TOO? That CD was not weak. You might wanna go back and listen to it. Entirely different approach that would have worked with a more mature audience.

I did and it has some pretty good jams in it. Mad, Sexy, Cool, Can't Stop Now, Sorry for the Stupid Things, Gettin to Know U, and Goin' Outta Business are my faves on here. I like his 2001 album, Face2Face better because of the nu-soul flavor he put in it and with that album it seemed he was going to another direction. But it seems on this album, he has returned to the balladeer he used to be. There are some duds and greats, but I would just recommend u just ripping into ur R&B collection and just look for his oldies like Tender Love and The Day, and even giving the Face2Face album a listen or two. Check me out and add me on:
