The Fat Albert theme or the Sanford and Son theme??? hmmm

Oh, just remembered what THE funkiest TV theme song is.
George Clinton's tune for The Tracey Ullman Show - You're Thinking Right.

Right! cool
As far as this thread, I pick Fat Albert theme. That Funky bass line in the intro is what gets me. No dis to Sandford theme which is a classic and funky as well. Just as a bass player I'm diggin' "that rubbery bass" in Fat Albert.
Fantasy is reality in the world today. But I'll keep hangin in there, that is the only way.

I don't think so only because I am one of dem "clones" (P-funk fan) and I've read and researched a lot on da funk and have never came across anything confirming this. No mentions. Nothing. Doesn't mean it aint him. It does sound like Bootsy. Must be one of dem "clones". cool

According to Will Lee, it's an uncredited bassist.

The tune En Vogue did for Roc was pretty funky also.
Also In Living Color hasn't been mentioned.
