NO. They're all sappy or hip- hoppy. Im a fan of the two second sound thats popular on the Law and Order shows. :blackout: DOUM DOUM! Of the 2 in question, Sanford & Son (The Streetbeater)
Good Times & The Jeffersons were more gospel than funk. Beyond the ones already mentioned (SWAT, Wonder Woman, Barney Miller, Night Court, etc) Baretta Miami Vice The Streets of San Francisco Starsky & Hutch Fish David Letterman (the original 4-piece band arrangement) tA Tribal Disorder http://www.soundclick.com...rmusic.htm "Ya see, we're not interested in what you know...but what you are willing to learn. I'll need to try to find some of those old theme's mentioned. Especially Letterman! Letterman and funk never shared the some brain wave in my head.
I used to love the Video LP theme on BET long before I found out it was the instrumental of Pheromone by Prince. I wonder what the unused theme by P for Byrant Gumbal's show sounded like? I heard it may have been considered "too funky" for a news program. | |

Not sure where you'll find the old version except on TrioTV (cable) which runs the old Letterman shows. The World's Most Dangerous Band is all about playing 60s/70s R&b/Funk covers. As a matter of fact, they're probably the best paid cover band on the planet. Oh, just remembered what THE funkiest TV theme song is. George Clinton's tune for The Tracey Ullman Show - You're Thinking Right. tA Tribal Disorder http://www.soundclick.com...rmusic.htm "Ya see, we're not interested in what you know...but what you are willing to learn.
