Ikaros

So yeah, it is him alone with a guitar and a laptop. A bit unworthy for his material, oh well.

The reaction to his set is lukewarm when I read reviews, exactly like a thought is the older part of the audience
very enthousiastic, whereas the typical young Coldplay-fans don't know about him and don't care either.

What a difference five years make in this case...

Hey, thanks for the heads up. I'm a fan of his work, solo and with The Verve, but my eye on his progress slipped because of the time he's spent away.
(by the way, I read the comic strip on the site, it made me chuckle smile ).

Me, personally, I very much liked "Human Conditions". Although dark and very melancholic, it's one of my favourites in recent years.

Never seen the lad live. Missed a couple of opportunities mainly because none of my friend were feelin' him so I had nobody to go with sigh Will definitely catch him next time around wink

Ta again, Ikaros thumbs up!

Entirely my pleasure... that is what this forum is about, is it not?

I have decided to gradually make my way back into his catalog, starting with The Verve material, and building with
that until the new album is released. I have got my hands on some collector's goods as well.

Going to get hyped biggrin

That cartoon is cool indeed. There must be more where that came from.
