Obviously every artist we discuss here had 2 start somewhere and we became fans at some point after 1st hearing them. I'm curious 2 know which artists out there do U enjoy, but have never gotten over that first single? In other words, nothing they've done has topped the 1st single (or 1st song of theirs U heard)?

My Examples:

-I like Erykah Badu, but "On and On" has always been my favorite song of hers. If a song can cast a spell, that track is some serious voodoo.

-Mariah Carey's had some good songs, but I'll never 4get the 1st time I heard "Vision of Love". That crescendo! That voice! 4 me nothng she's done since has topped it.

I agree about Mariah. "Vision Of Love" is still my favorite song by her.

"Hungry Like The Wolf" was the 1st ever song I heard by Duran Duran.
Yes, that song made me a fan, but over the years it's become their most played out song. Therefore it's not one of my all time favorites by them.

As far as I'm concerned,Whitney Houston has never topped her debut single "You Give Good Love".That's a beautiful,soulful ballad,and her voice is just incredible! She's released some decent singles throughout the years,but "You Give Good Love" is special.Let's all sing together now...
