sounds great, can't wait to hear Mariah's version of "Power of Love"
can't believe Janet is doing "The Glow of Love" sounds hot! but she already did that it was called ALL 4 U, should be interesting listen. Only 1 remake on there that looks bad, Celine!!! eek

Well not a bad lineup, not great, but i agree Celine has to go!! I think this is a slap in the face to Put that Song on there and letting Celine do it. Richard Marx should be doing it since he co-wrote it with Luther and actually it was also about the death of Richards father too. The Grammies also did this the year they won for Song of the Year, poor Richard played the piano while Celine butchered the song, sorry but she has a nice voice but she is on the list of singers that have nice voices but dont know how to sing (also on this list are Jessica Simpson and Beyonce). Richard Marx would blow Celine out the water if he sang it.

I disagree about Beyoncé not knowing how to sing, but I agree with Jessica Simpson & Celine being a poor choice for that cover. I don't really care for the line-up either....

I think Beyonce is a good Studio Singer but Live I feel she falls into that Trap of Going for the "Sam Harris" type of Notes, Jessica does this all the time, thats why I thought she should be thrown off a cliff for her version of Take My Breath away. I never really got this impression from Beyonce until I heard the Live Feed of her performance with Prince on the Grammies, it was Brutal and I love her too, but it really was a bad pairing of people to duet.

This could be good. I'm a little bit dissapointed there isn't more uptempo stuff and I'm not sure how I feel about Mary J. Bliege taking on "Never Too Much". It will either be too dramatic or too crunk! I think I'll buy this.

I'm not super familar with that song (probably would know it if I heard it) but I have and idea Stevie chose it and I'm sure if he wanted one of the massive hits, they would have said "Usher, you bitch, Stevie is doing "Superstar"!"

I'm not on the Celine bashing wagon but "Dance With My Father"? I'll give her and everyone else the benefit of the doubt. Sorry, Mary. We'll have to wait and listen.

I would love to see somebody do some of my favorite Luther tunes like:

"Make Me A Believer," "Other Side of the World," "For You To Love" and maybe a re-remake of "Anyone Who Had A Heart" and "I Who Have Nothing."

But those remakes are pure Luther.
