It seems alot of people my age know the song. Even though it ain't played much, just hearing it once will mean occasionly it will come back to u.

I think nik kershaw had something to do with it? He was good. "the riddle" is a great song.

I remember a boyband doing a song called that back in the late 90's (north and south, who were like s club 7 but predate them slightly)

"iam a man noy a boy, man not a boy, man not a boy (whoaaaaa)". Very stupid song.

I like "drop the boy" by Bros lol . The remix kicks some ass no joke.

Best one hit wonder EVER!

I actually have his album and that hideous movie with Roger Daltrey on video.

LOL @ North & South. It was a different song, same name. CHesney Hawkes' one was better. And the movie had Nick Moran in it from Lock, Stock & Two Smoking Barrells lol

No, but I did perfect the Hawkes pout. I'm still sure my lips changed shape because I thought about it so long, like that Talking Heads song.

I see the title of a thread and I just know it's you smile

you've always got the best flashbacks for nostalgic songs
from my youth. i've never looked at your profile before,
but I guess we must be about the same age since you seem
to remember all these songs and artists that were big at
the time I was in highschool.

I wish I still had napster or kazaa so I could download
all these songs you keep reminding me off
and true love lives on lollipops and crisps

thesexofit is COOL. I love people who unashamedly love and listen to rubbish and can easily chop and change between that and genuinely great stuff as well.

Although I personally think 'The One & Only' is a genuinely great pop song anyway. Nik Kershaw has sort of built up more credibility over the years and this song is one of the ones people look back at more fondly these days.

There are three sides to every story. My side, your side, and the truth. And no one is lying. Memories shared serve each one differently
