My Name Is Charlie: Last name Wilson!! What's up ya'll
I was just checking out this new joint from Charlie Wilson of the Gap Band and was just thinking, has there ever been a better or more distinct voice in R&B music? Off the top of my head if I had to rank the top male R&B voices of all time my ranking would go like this: 1. Charlie Wilson - Gap Band 2. Howard Hewitt - Shalamar (Damn he could have been #1 too) 3. Maurice White - EW&F Although my boy Prince isn't in my top three, his vocal performance on his debut album "For You" was just about flawless. If you don't think so, go back and listen again with headphones on. Hell the more I think about it there have been some really great voices in R&B and really no way to rank who the best of all time was----oh well I tried!!

Kelly" produced single. I'm sick and tired of the Prince fans being sick and tired of the Prince fans that are sick and tired!

I love R. Kelly, but he lost his mind on this one! Check me out and add me on:

Tell me about it. It's becoming embarrasing how these "older" artists try to be old gangstas so they can fit in with the younger generation. Sad I tell ya.....

Why is it they have need to feed into the Gangsta bullshit when they have a big hellified Old School following. What's wrong with Old School? It's all about thier damn egos.

gosh, Mr. Wilson does have one of those distinct strong black man voices that command women, but this song just sounds like he is one of those old men on the street, that when a young woman like me walks by they trying to holla...it's such a turnoff...as this song is I will forever love and miss you...my sweet Prince.

Yep and it's not pretty. And I looooove me some Chalie Wilson/Gap Band It's R hand me downs no doubt. As bad as most of the stuff on R's album is, this is 10 times worse. This cut has one of the worst hooks (if you can call it that) I've ever heard. Bringing Together Five Decades of R&B/Funk/Soul/Dance
