SWV returning? BREAKING NEWS: "Good Things Come To Those Who Wait..."
Such were the sentiments expressed by SWV's LeLee, during the premiere of their sophomore album "New Beginning" nine years ago. And perhaps that statement best sums up the feelings of millions worldwide--fans who have been yearning for new material from Sisters With Voices ever since the trio parted ways at the turn of the century. In true rollercoaster-fashion, fans have had their hopes lifted and dashed over the years with reunion rumors which never materialized. Well, disheartened fans need not fret anymore. The wait is finally over! SWVOnline.com is pleased to announce that Cheryl "CoKo" Clemons, LeAnne "Lelee" Lyons, and Tamara "Taj" George have officially reunited as the multiplatinum triumvirate SWV! A press announcement has been released to Los Angeles' most popular urban station 100.3 The Beat, which will be hosting the 2005 Summer Jam. The concert will showcase SWV as special guests in their first live performance in 8 years. Also featured on the program will be some of Hip Hop and R&B's finest, including Common, Toni Braxton, Trillville, Jermaine Dupri, Nick Cannon, Naughty By Nature and many others. SWV remains one of the top selling girl groups in the world. So understandably, word of their return has caused quite a stir within the industry, with several record labels hungrily vying for the ladies' contract. Currently, SWV's management team are weighing their options and a new recording deal should be finalized soon. In conjunction with that, SWV will be doing a photo shoot next month, and press with radio to build awareness of their return to the music scene. As the internet's foremost news source for SWV, SWVonline.com will keep you fans abreast of new developments and photos as they are received. In the meantime, spread the word: SWV are coming soon! And...it's about time for a new beginning, wouldn't you agree? For more information about the Summer Jam visit 100.3 The Beat. I liked their first two albums (It's About Time and New Beginning), but with their last album, I had a lot of mixed feelings because it was too freaky and that really wasn't their trademark sound. Wonder how this new album is going to do? Check me out and add me on:

I've always wondered - how good was Lelee's voice? I never really heard her sing. Is she the Ronnie Devoe/Michael Bivins of the group? My author page: https://www.amazon.com/au...eretttruth

Millions have been waiting...I think millions liked the first album (which was amazing) and passed on the last two (which had issues). Sounds great. It's true, right? I wouldn't it a satement and not a question, Voices. Millions might not be looking forward to it, but I beat there are a lot of people, myself included that want to hear them again!

I never bought "Release Some Tension" but always saw it as too much of an effort too be waay to hip! "New Begingings" felt like an AC album for the most part....very boring! The funny thing is the ballad "Rain" from "Release..." was probably the biggest hit from the CD and had the most longevity. Now it's about time....that's a CD!

I know Coko has a child with Butterfly from The Digable Planets, but I am not sure if they are married. I think it would be nice to see them return...I thought Taj had a nice voice when they actually decided to let her sing. I am not African. Africa is in me, but I cannot return.
I am not taína. Taíno is in me, but there is no way back. I am not european. Europe lives in me, but I have no home there. I am new. History made me. My first language was spanglish. And I am
