Kewl New Hendrix Bio For those who dig all things Jimi.
"Room Full Of Mirrors - A Biography Of Jimi Hendrix. By Charles R. Cross" It's a good book. It has stuff I haven't read in other Hendrix Bios. | |

Liiiiike? Examples please. What makes it a better book than the previous ones? What was the writer's angle? Does he have an angle? Or does he just keep to the 'facts'? |

This ain't NPR. Read it and see if there is info that is new to you also. It will be a kewl discovery process if you are into Jimi. More details about his childhood. His time before England. It's not a cut and paste bio with rehashed quotes. I don't see any "agenda" from the Author. He sticks with facts without doing David Henderson or Curtis Knight B.S. [Edited 7/23/05 5:56am] | |

this is the same man who wrote the latest "official" cobain bio, "heavier than heaven". some people believe he painted too nice a picture of courtney love in that book. in any case, i may be interested in this book as "heavier than heaven" was a decent read.
