Parliament's Chocolate City Not the album, but the song itself...
This groove need to be heard on headphones.. Because there's all kind of stuff going on there and it can be heard clearly on the phones..... Play close attention to Bernie's keyboard... Dayumm!!! No wonder he's the wizard of Woo!!! Bootsy's bass....Well..Its Bootsy!!! Then there's the horn solo's going at it, like its under attack!!! Yes!! To top it off, brotha' George's funkay dialog....Genius!! What a groove!!! Nobody was doing this stuff at that time.... Give it up!! For Chocolate City!!! | |

I've been jamming this song for the last few days. Everything is on point and yes Bernie Worrell kills it on keyboards!!! Bootsy's bassline is sick and the lyrics..the lyrics, the lyrics...so timeless and they speak to white flight to the burbs. Oustanding song on an oustanding album...Stevie Wonder secretary of fine arts....

Didn't see this one untill now, pill. I would have jumped all over this, player. Good choice, pill. That's why I love analog, cuz of that warm ass sound. Parliament and Funkadelic's mid 70's period is evident of this. U can hear everything so well and so warm. With all the shit they would have, horns, tons of vocals, even the drums: i.e. hi-hat, kick, it's all there! SynthiaRose said "I'm in love with blackguitaristz. Especially when he talks about Hendrix."
