Probably my fav of late (and back in the day as well) has to be
"eye". somehow, especially if you hear it on headphones, it's a
very sexual song. It makes me yearn to let a complete stranger
lick my body all night long

I must have played Set The Ray to Jerry over a million times back in the day, Billy Corgan is well aware of the fact that that song, like Starla , is a favorite among harcore pumpkin fans.

That thudding bass, super soft guitar picking and quiet electronic twinkle are just perfect. Not to mention the way he sings it. I love the way he matched the b-sides from that album to their parent A-sides. They made sense as little mini EP's that way.

I haven't managed to get all the tracks together for reviewing
yet, so it will take me a bit longer to finish the project of
compiling a Pumpkins Electronica album.

But feel free to help out here and post your tracks or even an
own tracklist!!

Any help will be great.

They have a few like that. Check out "Lily" on Disc 2 of Mellon Collie.

i guess it just pays off for me that i was never into the pumpkins. shrug

Cuz you didn't like their stuff or you just never made the plunge?

i guess a little bit of both. i had mellon collie but i only really liked one of the discs. basically, the loud, hard stuff. billy's a little too whiney for me at times (which is why i'm surprised i like this new cd so much). everyone keeps telling me i need to get siamese dream. maybe i'll find it in a used wrecka sto or something.

people complain about his voice a lot, he has a love it or hate it singing voice. And I think most people either really love this band or really hate them.

I know it's just a bunch of b-sides and leftovers, but sometimes I feel like it's my favorite Pumpkins album. I never feel like I've worn it out, even though I know it perfectly. It's the album of theirs I go to when I want to listen to them but I'm not sure what I want to hear.

Absolutely. I don't see much middle ground with them. Not a lot of casual fans.
