Lisa 'Left-Eye' Lopes, imo could have been 1 of the best female rappers.

Tone-Loc is corny, but ok.

And there aint no reason to dis Hammer, other than the pants.

Ok, I can live with Hammer pants b/c the cat could dance. However, his first Pumps & A Bumps Video was another story when he had that sock shoved down his speedos to look likes he was packing. lol

Lloyd Banks is acutally a renowned lyricist for his tight punchlines.

And maybe not the current Mase, but the old Murda Mase defintely would be in the Top 10.

Chingy!, my homeboy is one of the hottest out there! And Prince did an ok rap on "The Greatest Romance...." remix with Eve. So he might be able to spit some rhymes if he really wanted to. You should say somebody like Nice & Smooth their shit sounds like they wrote it in the 3th grade!

If this is a list for emcees you'd NEVER see on a top 10 list, wasn't 50 at the number 1 spot for Get Rich or Die Tryin' with 11 million in sales or something like that.

Master P's gotta be on SOME top 10 richest artists somewhere.

On the contrary...

I see a rainbow yesterday
But too many storms have come and gone
leavin' a trace of not good-given ray
Is it because my life is ten shades of gray
I pray all ten fade away
Seldom praise Him for the sunny days
And like His promise is true only my faith can undo
The many chances I blew to bring my life to anew
Clear blue and unconditional skies
Have dried the tears from my eyes
No more lonely cries endurin' pain that
it keeps 'em in the pourin' rain
Who's to blame it's a shame
You shoot and aim for someone else's brain
You claim the insane and name his day in time
For fallin' prey to crime, I say the system
Got you victim to your own mind
Dreams are hopeless aspirations in hopes
Of comin' true, believe in yourself
The rest is up to me and you

from "Waterfalls"

A-yo, if we could all agree
To lettin' our souls become free
Of that sweet bitterness
Then who's chest would have the most seeds?
I keep misfocusin' my needs
And distress on my back with them cats
They be blastin' into my knapsack
Ain't no accidental deathtraps
My mishap is the fact that I'm destined to snap
It's when I feel as though my body's able to go
My mind is ready to flow, didn't you know?
First you catch and then I throw
It's my own sense of time
If I'm late, it's 'cuz I'm endin' my day
Just when the sun shines
And still gently advising the arisin' of the moon
As it rolls around into my soundproof dimension

from "Sumthin Wicked This Way Comes"

Oh I Oh I Oh I am the surgeon general
I do believe in lyrical miracles (Warning!)
Creepin' may cause hysterical behavior in the mind
Put your life into a bind
And in time make you victim to a passionate crime
Now pregnant women put themselves at greater risk of bein' dissed
Known as no one for not knowin' who the daddy is
Which may result in little kids growin' up by the dozens
Gettin' sexually involved with first cousins
Creepin' is the number one item on the chart
Rippin' families apart the leadin' cause of a broken heart
Injuries can be fatal may in fact of prenatal
HIV is often sleepin' in a creepin' cradle

But I'll admit, that Left Eye had really fell off in her final days of her life. You can tell by listening to the "Supernova" cause her flow got slow and a lil off beat, but she still had a speical message in every song on the album. She probably wouldnt make the Top 10 of MCs in general, but I gaurantee you she would make the Top 10 Females MCs

Hotlips, your boys are booty. I hate to say it, but that double-up rhyme mess is wack. Don't nobody wanna hear them fools wailing as they try and rap. That's why they played out so fast.

But you and I can still get our fuck on right? razz
