There were some very shaggable blokes in Take That (Howard, Jason) but that's about it.

I had a crush on Jason.

Hubba hubba - Jason was drool mr.green

They did have some good songs, actually. (Back To Good probably the best example).

robbie williams is the most annoying man alive

He lives in LA I think? I can see why he didn't break america. His music is too tongue n cheek for top 40 USA. USA likes its pop stars devoid of any self knowing humour or cheekiness. Though he is annoying as hell, but over in UK, we accept it.

Plus, emi fucked up his record. It was a mix of his first 2 conbined onto 1 ("the ego has landed" doesn't exist in UK)

Of late, robbie has been off. No denying "angels" though. But now thats played out.

oh, and despite Mark Owen's complete inability to sing, and the limp, trite story behind the song, i also like 'Babe'.

On East17, - their music was mostly terrible. They only got anywhere because they were marketed as the 'cooler', more 'street' version of Take That.

In retrospect, Deep (which is their only half-decent song) was crap.

neutral

And it's a whole other thread, but All Saints were damn good - their debut album is excellent. (I make the connection because of All Saints' and East17's tendency to wear combat trousers and look 'hard, like'. neutral)

Ha All saints. "never ever" was a great pop song. Infact, looking back, it still holds up.

How about Billie?

"because we want to" sounded so dated on release. That cornation street setting on the video was pretty rememorable though, as was that chorus mad "why u gotta play that song so loud? (because we want to, because we want to)"
