Started with them...

...all the way back here.

This record included an incredibly atrocious version of James Brown's Please, Please, Please. lol
My Generation and The Kids Are Alright make up for it.

I Can See For Miles (The Who Sell Out) is still one of my favorite Who songs.

I've never had much use for The Who... I don't care for Daltrey's voice and Townsend has always rubbed me the wrong way...

I do dig that crazy 1975 movie "Tommy" that features them... wink

The early 70's period is when I started digging The Who and I have followed them since. In the 70's and early 80's, I used to have a crush on Roger Daltry.

Got to admit that album's pretty overrated, I love the Townshend songs on here, and "The Ox" is great, but the covers drag it down.

One of the greatest bands ever. Right up there with the Beatles, Stones, and led Zeppelin. And they were/are awesome in concert.

Won't Get Fooled Again is my fave Who track, and was a highlight of Live 8, for me.

Great song, great lyrics. I especially like "Meet the new boss - the same as the old boss"

The Who at their very best.

yeah, definitely one of the most impressive performances at live 8.

Won't Get fooled again is definitely one of the best hard rock songs, one of the best album closers, one of the best political allegory songs, one of the best uses of synthesizers in the arrangement of a rock song...it just kicks some serious ass headbang guitar

Yep, right here. If you like this one, ya might like "My Wife", "Bargain", and their version of "Young Man Blues".

Me too! I've seen them in concert twice. They put on a great live show. The first time I saw them was just a few months before Keith Moon died (yeah, I'm that old). wink
