While I agree, I dont believe Biggie should be on top since he was only 2 albums deep compared to 2Pac's what..8, 9? Plus bootlegs???

Where is KRS-One?

Greatest of all time, IMO.

Got it right? Personally, I don't think so. I knew before I even clicked on it that B.I.G. and 2Pac would be at the top. They were never there before they died, why should they be now? Both of them good, neither of them the best.

Em shouldn't be on there, and neither should Wu and ATCQ because they are groups. Wu shouldn't be on there also because they really just had that 1 breakup album 36 Chambers and was pretty sub par after that. Plus, I read how they chose their top 11 so they really don't know Hip Hop.

Cuz I don't feel Em's been in the game long enough and I think he gets overhyped due to the fact that he's white.

He does have a irresistable style and way of catching the ear.

He has been rapping since 1996, albums since 1998. He may not be in the game long enough but that doesnt make him any less of one of the best rappers out since then.

You'd put him ahead of KRS One and LL then? Trugoy/Dave from De La? Ice Cube?

Naw, not even. Em didn't pioneer shit. He has some skills, but not ahead of those cats I just mentioned.

U right I wouldnt put him up there. They are missing LL I must say. I only have "3 Feet High and Rising" from De La, and definitley not infronta Ice Cube. Hmmm....u got me stumped.

He's clinically insane now, but I can get with that.

As tight as Dave is, IMHO, Kelvin Mercer a/k/a Posdunous is really on another level. But as a group, De La belongs in the convo. Their body of work speaks for itself!

The Teacher and Ice Cube should've been on this list.

Eminem should've been omitted and replaced with LL or the aforementioned.

Great list, although I would have put Tupac first. Biggie really doesn't need to be so high up, in my opinion.

Dan, I gotta disagree with you. Pac and Biggie definately belong on that list. Even though Biggie only had two albums before he passed, his flow was impeccable and, regardless of Pac'sthugstatus, he was one of the best and there is no one like him. Eric B and KRS One should be at the top of the list followed by De La collective effort. LL Cool J does not belong on the list, in my opinion.

And MC Lyte never gets her props! fit

If Lyte gets her props then Queen Latifah would make it ahead of her then.

LL's been around for a long time but what he says doesn't move me like Pac did/does. I dunno: LL's party and Pac's stuff had a lot of social commentary.
