so true!!! You won't find any men out here now that even compares to these two talents, nor will you hear songs like the ones they sung back then...about true love not just hittin' it and quittin' it.

Guys nowadays have forgotten that it takes hard work to TRULY romance a woman, but its never too late to learn...all they have to do is listen to these guys.... biggrin

nod that's a great song too.

a little trivia about that song: when Jeffrey turned in his 'Stay With Me Tonight' album to his record company in 1983,he was adamant that the title track should be the first single. But his record label felt that "Don't You Get So Mad About It" was a better, safer choice. It's a straight-up R&B song, unlike the title track, which is a little more "pop-ish".In any case, the record company won and "Don't You Get So Mad" became the leadoff single. But the title track was the second single, and I think it was an even bigger hit.

Yes, definite respect due! U couldn't touch Teddy when he was in his prime from the mid to late 70's. I'll never forget the Teddy live album, Side 3:

Teddy's Rap
Come Go With Me
Close The Door
Turn Off The Lights
Do Me

I still bump this til this day

Jeffrey Osbourne with LTD & Solo, he was a powerhouse. I enjoy listening to his music. I only have 2 words:

Love Ballad!

Nuff Said.
