Is Neil Finn the most underrated musician out there?

The man has written some of the best pop songs ever, Crowded House had some hits, but this guy should be fucking huge. Splitz Enz is wanna of my favorite bands, and I’m getting into his recent work, it’s fucking on point..

I’m really enjoying his work....underrated

He seriously is. For some reason I've just been obsessed with Split Enz and Crowded House lately. It's just brilliant pop perfection.

Caught Neil and the gang (including Liz Berlin from Rusted Root, I believe) at the 9:30 Club in Washington, a few years ago. It was easily one of the best concerts I've ever attended. A consummate artist, Mr. Finn is. And, that goes double for Ms. Berlin.

Yeah, Crowded House have some fantastic songs, hes definitely underrated. Shame he doesnt release much anymore. I love love love Fall at Your Feet.

Yeah, he is kind of underrated. Much like Peter Case, Peter Hosapple, Paul Westerberg, even Aimee Mann. Generally, pop specialists writing in the metal/grunge/hip hop era have had a difficult time getting their due, I suppose.

I think he is. His music is really really good. Crowded House was also underrated for that matter. But at least they had more success that he is having. Though I doubt Neil is equating his new success with his old.

Everyone Is Here by The Finn Brothers is a great record, as good if not better than One Nil, and I confess I love Neil's there is a light that never goes out live version better than Morrissey's one. I hope he'll work with Wendy/lisa again.
