In the liner notes for HIStory, it says that Michael played drums, guitar, and keys on most of the songs. Also, on most of the Invicible tracks, he's credited as playing/arranging most of the synths, percussion parts.


I notice that no one seems to believe or even entertain the thought that he plays anything, and I'm not saying he's amazing at it, but I would love to see him prove to people he can by playing some instruments on stage!

Michael Jackson is in the songwriters hall of fame, Michael Jackson has written great songs (esp for the Jacksons), (We are The World is one of the most famous songs ever) Michael Jackson can play instrumemts and also count to three MJ is a better vocalist and dancer than Prince.....He lip synched most of the history tour, he mailed it in, so fucking what, ever notice he's not really into making music anymore

See I was under the impression that he did not play anything. True he is a great artist amazing singer/dancer but I would think if he was good at playing any instruments he would do at least something on stage....I mean I have done a couple shows with a band that I play with and I am the singer but it about kills me to do a show without playing at least something so I would think that Michael would have the itch....but hey maybe not Michael is different in a lot of ways mayeb that is just another way he is different.....But I would have to agree he probably cannot play guitar like Prince but then again is there anyone on earth that honestly can?
