Parlet Anybody heard Cookie Jar from Parlet? Does this song stank or what? It's like somebody was on the toilet when they came up with the bass line.

I just posted about Parlet on the Battle Of The P-Funk Classics-threads... Parlet was a great outlet for GC's funk, like P did with V6 and A6. Their Cookiejar is kewl, never heard the Haskin version (but will checkit out). I kinda liked Prince's version better because in this case I actually what he added, music/lyric/production-wise. Too bad he lets his version be spiderfood. Like I said on the other thread, I am kinda rediscovering their stuff today. Actually took out the bootleg vinyl I have of their Ridin'' High promo. |
