Simpson's sexy 'Boots' video made for shocking

LOS ANGELES -- Move over Paris Hilton. Jessica Simpson is taking the carnal car-washing crown. Still reeling from the hotel heiress' burger commercial in which she wears a skimpy bathing suit whilst sudsing up her Bentley, a radical Christian group calling itself the Resistance is protesting a similar scene in Simpson's music video for "These Boots Are Made for Walking."

Simpson, 24, covers the Nancy Sinatra song along with Willie Nelson for the upcoming Warner Bros. film adaptation of "The Dukes of Hazzard," hitting theaters in August.

In the video, Simpson is dressed in her Daisy Duke attire inspired by her "Hazzard" character, complete with denim short shorts and midriff-baring top. She struts around in a bar in red boots, gyrating, undulating and all-around sexing up the crowd of cowboys, including collaborator Nelson. It's the latter part of the video, however, that's drawing the most attention. She performs similar moves, but this time wearing only a skimpy pink string bikini while stroking the General Lee -- and that's no euphemism. She also sings about her double-Ds -- referring to the Daisy Duke initials of course.

Website TheResistanceManifesto.com, trumpets, "SAD NEWS -- Christian role model Jessica Simpson becomes Illuminati pawn." The site is calling for an apology and a re-shoot of the lewd video.
"It's disappointing to have Jessica, a pastor's daughter and Christian role model, join the ranks of the 'singing strippers' such as Brittany [sic] Spears and Christina Aguilera," says spokesperson John Conner. "She has one of the most beautiful voices, and is a very beautiful girl, but it's sad to see her whore her self [sic] out like this ... She took a classic like the 'Dukes of Hazzard,' and Daisey [sic] Duke, and turned her into a slutty, stripper with a fetish for old men."
One must take these vitriolic objections with a grain of salt, however, since the site has an ulterior motive: spreading allegations that the 9/11 terrorist attacks were masterminded by the Illuminati.

"Well...since the mass media won't touch the truth about the September 11th inside job and the New World Order, we thought we would feed them a story they would talk about," the site proclaims. "And they took it hook, line, and sinker, all the while leading people to our site, so they can learn about more important issues. Thanks mass media! Suckers! ha ha ha." Simpson's father Joe, the aforementioned pastor, isn't bothered by the apparent sexiness of the video.

"She is not trying to be sexy. If you watch her, she's laughing throughout the whole thing," he tells "Inside Edition." "She's dancing like a crazy thing, like her mother and sister would dance at the house and be stupid. This is not her trying to be a Playboy model, which is what we're hearing."

Of course, what Joe Simpson considers inappropriate is questionable. He once discussed his daughter's rack with a disturbing and un-paternal glee: "She just is sexy. If you put her in a T-shirt or you put her in a bustier, she's sexy in both. She's got double D's! You can't cover those suckers up!"
Neither does he think that her actions reflect badly on her Christian upbringing.

"We came from the church and we always wanted to be great representatives of that. Jessica's never done anything that she would be embarrassed about," he says. "You have got to do what is between you and God and go forward and the rest of the world will have to just deal with it."

Pop Simpson was also the one who elicited a virginity pledge from his daughter, making her promise not to have sex until marriage. Once she tied the knot to 98 Degrees singer Nick Lachey though, Joe commented, "She waited for marriage, and now she's happily married and having sex every day. Now she's going crazy, and that's cool."

Joe Simpson produced Jessica's MTV "Newlyweds" reality show as well as executive producing many of her specials and "The Ashlee Simpson Show" for his other daughter for MTV. His latest project is E!'s "Filthy Rich, Cattle Drive," which will debut Sunday, Aug. 7, two days after the opening of "The Dukes of Hazzard."

I, for one, think it is repulsive how her creepy father pimps her out. You know he is behind her career, making all the major decisions. Wonder if the perv was sitting there drooling and watching her film the "Boots" video in her skimpy little bikini? He's gross and needs to get his own life.

It's time for a reality check! There are soliders dieing everyday and u ppl are worried about how jessica looks! What is wrong with u ppl. Ppl just died in london and ur still harping over her looks. It's time to relook at what u hold dear. There is MORE IMPORTANT things to worry about.

I agree it is creepy that her father pimps her out and seems to reveal in her becoming sexual! Madonna's father, for example, as seen in "Truth Or Dare" seems to relutantly shrug off her sexually aggresiviness in her performance, which makes sense. I don't care how much you like Jessica Simpson....you have to admit her father is at least a little prevy!

Actually the ridicule of Jessica Simpson's new video isn't from the Christian Right wing b/c the talk of the illuminati and the new world order sounds like it's coming from a cult website rather than an actual Christian website.
