Usually I dont even give a crap about stupid people who talk about WEIGHT and things like that, but I have heard over and over about MARIAH carey and how FAT she is and finally i just have to say it SHUT UP ALREADY. Obviously U people have no clue what FAT and Overweight are, its IDIOTS like U that we end up with Celebrities Like Lindsay Lohan who has lost 40 pounds and looks like she may die, because people and her managers thought she was too chubby to get parts. The same crap was told to Jessica SImpson and she dropped about 30 pounds and looks like shit too. Sure MARIAH is bigger than she was During Vision of Love and Emotions than she is today but she was 19 when she started and to be honest she was SO skinny it wasnt healthy looking. Look Im not here to defend Mariah or start a FAT topic, Im just trying to show the ignorance of people and the Society we live in. Just another little note about Mariah, I have stood next to this girl on a few occasions over the Last 15 years and she is TALL and then when U figure the High heels, she is a big girl, and for the record I would take the Mariah of today over the 19 year old Vision Of love Mariah in a second. Dont know where the MYTH started that Skinny was Sexy, but give me Mariah over the Hiltons or the Lohans or Simpsons anyday. And to all those Females in the spotlight.....stop listening to stupid shit like your fat!!

I agree with what you say, but i would question how sensible it is to start a whole new thread about a subject you want people to shut up about. Could i also point out that most people are not actually saying shes fat, more that she wears clothes that perhaps reveal a little bit too much, and leave practically nothing to the imagination.

I was going to start another post but thought there were too many Mariah posts, Mariah's sister was arrested last night for prostitution, not sure why i'm poating but thought some of u might be interested if u know anything about Mariah and Alison's long saga, Mariah and her sister were reunited in 2002 before her father died at his request, but they feel out again. Mariah and her mother took custody of her kids in 1994 which is cause of the riff, but I beleive Mariah is still paying for her treatment of drug addiction and HIV.

July 7, 2005 -- Mariah Carey's troubled, HIV-positive sister has been arrested for prostitution — for a second time.
Suffolk County police said they picked up Alison Carey, 43, after she solicited an undercover cop at the West Shore Marina in Huntington, L.I., on June 13.

"She offered to engage in sexual conduct for $250 in cash," a police source said.

Explaining the long lag time between Carey's arrest and the public release of her family ties, another source said, "We don't ask for the family tree when someone is put under arrest for prostitution."

It was Alison's second prostitution arrest.

She was previously busted in April at her Huntington home, police said. She pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct and was fined $200 on June 2.

Eleven days later, she was back on the streets, police said. The new charge carries a maximum of three months in jail.

Alison Carey has been out of tune with her family for years. She has claimed in interviews that she started turning tricks as a teenager, and that her work paid for limos that took her younger sister to her early gigs.

In the early 1990s, Alison was so broke and strung out that her mother got custody of the young woman's son.

She gave birth to another boy, and spent years in welfare motels and sleeping in a car. But she later lost custody of that boy, too.

In 2000, she shopped a tell-all book about her life and her famous sister, whom she called a "vain and heartless multimillionaire." The book was never published, if it was written at all.

A spokeswoman for Mariah Carey did not return a call yesterday.

Alison Carey's lawyer could not be reached.

If you go in the wayback machine and watch old movies like the Marilyn movies or the 007 movies (The Jill St. John ones) women were quite voluptuous or whatever you want to call it. Very healthy.
