Thank goodness,I watched footage from the Live 8 shows,because I was able to watch U2 perform One.
I can't believe that I forgot how much this song means to me.Its indescribable the way I'm touched,moved when I listen to this song.If you're not moved when you hear it,I wonder if your heart is working
It has got to be one of the top 10 most beautiful songs ever recorded.
And then,of course I listened to the whole Achtung Baby album.Great album!

Very powerful and beautiful song. You must get the Sloan Castle dvd by u2.It is incredible. I showed it to a non-U2 fan over the past weekend and they were blown away. They had no idea how good the band is.

I read a story about the making of Achtung Baby recently, and it seems the band were wondering if it was worth carrying on as they couldn't agree on styles and nothing was working right.....and then they wrote One!

Can you imagine getting home from a studio one night and knowing you'd just created a song like that from nothing?
