sometimes i like to go to sleep listening to old residents albums, because occasionally letting my imagination get lost in really really weird, abstract music helps me get to sleep.

When 'Little Girls Eyes' comes on I just flop faced down on my bed and zonk out. No dis to the song, it's just so lovely and mellow.

I used to put something on before bed all the time growing up. And then I started to have Cee's problem where it was just too much stimulus and would keep me up. I'd be anticipating the next song, thinking about the lyrics, whatever, etc. But lately, I've been enjoying my iPod quite a bit. I'm good for about 4-5 songs and just as I'm starting to drift off, I put it down and then go to sleep. Works like a charm most nights. biggrin

Me too.

But if I did use music to send me off to Magic Pixie Land, I would imagine that anything by UB40 would do the trick quite nicely. Except One In Ten, cos I like that one.
