I thought that it was widely accepted that he was gay. I didn't know that there was any confusion regarding his preferences.

I remember when I first "discovered" that he was gay. He was on an interview show, perhaps Arsenio, when he was asked, if you couldn't be a singer what would you do?

Luther looked at the camera, smiled coyly, and said "I'd be an Interior Decorator."

Now, it wasn't WHAT he said that sold it to me; it was the WAY he said it.

All a vibe thing.

Having said that, Luthor was the greatest pure singer of his generation; like few others before him, he could sing the alphabet and make it sound good.

Thanks for not speculating on the brother as soon as he died. His sexuality is a very small part of who he was.

Luther was and will always be a legend.
