I remember this track b/c it had a cool tempo. Thomas Dolby used to work with Whodini when laying down the tracks.

You know what makes this track great? Thomas Dobly produced and played keyboards on this track.
Back in the day, i couldn't get away from Whodini, seemed to be everybody was bumping it. They didn't move me back then, but now i have a greater appreciation for them. Especially, their DJ (I forget his name) but everytime someone talks about Whodini's live show they always bring up how his was scratching with his tennis shoes whilst the other memebers was trying to pull him away from the tables.

yep, great track. this and "Haunted house of rock" where on those very first rap mix tapes I put together for friends and family back in the days their debut album didn't have much more memorable to offer than those two singles, but the follow up album now THAT was some classic shit . [Edited 7/6/05 11:57am] Vanglorious... this is protected by the red, the black, and the green. With a key... sissy!

I started a thread on Whodini about a month ago. I think they rock and I still listen to them now. Are there any groups out there today that sound like they may have been influenced by them? The only reason why I would say the Black eyed Peas is because they sang "one love" in their song "where is the love".

You have a point. I think they owe somebody some royalties for real.

I heard that remake and it sucked. There are certain classic that people shouldn't fuck with if they can't do it right.

lol what? it wasn't a remake, and it was awesome.
