Please, please, please, please, please consider this

Give us one month off. Please. Lock all MJ threads and stop them for one month.

This'll achieve two things

1) it'll give everyone who isnt interested in the 'neverending talents' of the peter pan of pop a well deserved break and

2) It will give MJ fans time to come up with new threads other than ones such as the god awful "what if Mike wasn't lying" (no offence Dag mate, but that thread was poor)

I'm proposing this as a serious consideration, I may get shot down in flames, but really its too much. I can barely go to the Prince Music and More forum due to the mad fams there, the non prince forum is turning into a total MJ zone.

I'm tapped out as well of MJ threads, he's a FREE Man and is now trying to recover what was once a fantastic career. Can He recover, will he ever tour again, this that and other ? I really don't care, whatever you may feel about his persona or the trial decision, I am tired of it all. Unless there is something new about Mike, let it go and let the bitterness rest.

yeah, Mike ain´t the only one discussed here over and over again. Just check the Mariah "hearts" the homeless thread - as useless as mine, if not more.

It got a lot of responses because people love having a go at MJ. Thats another reason why its a good idea, people are so bitter towards him and will take any oppurtunity to give him dogs abuse. For everyone who loves him, another puts him down. It dont make for quality discussion, just out and out chaos at times

I'm guilty of contributing to them but they are tired. If they didn't exist I wouldn't bother. But there are far too many for the various conversations and questions he inspires.

yeah, those conversations can get interesting. The best one was the Veinandy´s Gender preferences - that actually turned into a very interesting serious conversation.

well sometimes i do feel compelled. The overwhelming presence of MJ threads is annoying in itself.

Say for instance you dont like, for example eh Justin Timberlake. for every 10 thread on JT, you'll see 100 on MJ. its a lot easier to ignore sporadic threads on an artist as opposed to wading through the vast number of MJ threads. Plus a lot of the time MJ discussion ends up hijacking other threads.

True, but I ain´t interested in Madonna, Mariah and others that much and I still manage to ignore it. I have never opened 85% of all threads on this part of the board. I just read on artists I am interested in or topics that get my attention somehow.

Prince and MJ are not mortal enemies. I love both, so threads like this get a smile from me. Kind of silly.

I think there has ALWAYS been an MJ thread on this board. I see many Britney and Bowie threads too. As long as it's only one or two, I see no big deal. And for the entire trail...all threads have been removed and pretty much all of the discussion relegated to one thread...a sticky.

Its not more appropriate to discuss anyone or anything, but when it comes to a point where a SEPERATE forum for one artist is suggested on a website for Prince, then c'mon, surely you can see thats not quite right?

I'm not knocking MJ, just the total domination he has over this board.

Don't see what is silly about this thread, I'm trying to gauge support for an Idea i think will freshen things up.
