The Best Music Videos On DVD collections

Has anyone else seen these in the stores? They are, in most cases, half ass looking collections of videos from well known artists. Now the would be OK if the videos were high quality, but they looked like they are tapped from TV. I bought three of them thinking that they just looked like bootlegs....but I think they were. And they were adversitsed at a major store! I watched "Are You That Somebody" from an Aaliyah collection and it cuts off in the middle with a some homemade screen that says "Goodbye Aaliah". I'm not sure if I can return this even? Anyone familar with these collections. There is one that features Prince along with Micheal Jackson, Whitney Houston and P. Diddy...I know, too much!

Prince's tracklisting

Automatic
Controversy
Gett Off (Remix although not noted as such)
I Wanna Be Your (Lover)
Let's Pretend (We're Married)
Little Red Corvette
Sexuality
Uptown

If you want some more details, just respond. And if you also bought these collections or know about them, please respond as well!

I must admit, the Prince one I would still consider getting, because all I have is some low quality dubs anyway... yknow?

I typed that message way too late. There is one collection that has Prince, Micheal Jackson, Whitney and Puffy all on one! Only Whitney's is slightly noteworthy, mostly collecting stuff from the mid to late ninties (along with "Fine" and "If I Told You That"). Jackson is all over the place. Two of the "videos" aren't his music videos but are commericals. "History" is the commerical for the album and "Brace Yourself" plays this opera song (a very familar one...) and shows clips of Jackson and his screaming fans. And there is "Scream" (possibly my favorite video of his), "You Are Not Alone", "Dirty Diana" and a few familar ones but I don't think anything from "Thriller"....not sure.

The videos on the Prine one are low quality (as in DVD quality, not production). "Automatic" looked like it was literally and old VHS! Also, you can tell they are from TV becuase the this "Make It Or Break It" message appears over the videos, sometimes accompanied with a number! Totally fake and how they get away with selling this is major stores is amazing. Still, might be worth checking out.

I saw the Missy one and if it had "Get Your Freak On", I would bite. However, it didn't but had "Is That Your Chick" which I don't know as a Missy song but do know it as of course a line in "Freak". However, considering what happened with the Aaliyah video, I definately thinking twice before buying anymore, Buyer beware. They are cheap, though. $6.92 on sale. I have an idea that the store I bought mine at was just jumping on the Wal-Mart bandwagon which is not a good thing. Very low quality and your taking your chances.
