mmmmm, no. MJ should just sit his ass down for about 5 years and keep a very low profile. personally and publicly.

Michael would get a loud chorus of boos if he ever tried to play at the superbowl.

it doesn't make me happy, i don't take pleasure in other people suffering. But it's the simple truth. And Michael knows this as well. Which is why he wouldn't do something like this (or Live 8 for that matter). He needs to do his own tour, and play in front of his own fans, if he wants a good reaction.

Considering the setting of Detroit, I see Motown Revue as a possiblity.

Or (seperate from the Motown Revue) if Diana Ross can get it together, she can preform. Stevie Wonder seems like a great choice.

The best would be....Madonna!

Likely commerical choice? Eminem.

Please spare us Kid Rock!

Bono wanted him to perform @ live8, Geldof basically said it was too soon for him and he needs to recuperate. They were both very supportive of him. I don't believe he'd have got a bad reception at all.

I havent been an MJ fan in a long time, I think he will lay low for awhile, he will come back with something, he will never dance the way he once did, he shouldnt even try, but as an entertainer he cant be denied, and people will always want to hear that distinctive Michael Jackson voice.

There is no way that a crowd in Detroit would boo Michael Jackson. Thats just sacrilegious. I think its written somewhere in the City of Detroit Charter that a Motown act (past or present) must never be booed. lol

Detroit's got bigger problems pulling off this upcoming Super Bowl than compounding their problems by adding the Michael Jackson headache.

Would he bring 100 kids onto the field and assume tons of ridiclious messianic poses? If so, then I hope he stays far, far away from the Super Bowl.
