They ran the same time as Pink Floyd I think. Had to go with the historic Pink Floyd performance. No contest! They just started the webcast replay. tA Tribal Disorder http://www.soundclick.com...rmusic.htm "Ya see, we're not interested in what you know...but what you are willing to learn. C'mon y'all."

It looks like only Canada is still going live. Thanks lyricsdaddy. It just seemed odd that ours ended at around midnight and Philly ended so early in the day ... I thought maybe I was missing out on something as all we have here in the UK is coverage of Philly earlier (Destiny's Child etc)

Pink floyd didn't sound that good with comfortably numb I like the fact that these were done in parks, but the arena setting looks better, the crowds I saw in Philly and london were also kinda lame [Edited 7/2/05 16:48pm]

Sounds to me like you guys in the US didnt have such great coverage having to watch it on yer PC. We had it on the BBC here and all we had to was press the red button on the remote to see all the countries simultaneously...
Great concert! Razorlight, Coldplay, U2, Madonna, Robbie Williams, Stereophonics and Pink Floyd were excellent! Shit man, they were all great! www.live8live.com Go and sign the petition peeps!

They cancelled. Jay Kay said in an interview that he had no idea how they got booked for the show but they had to cancel because they have a show tomorrow somewhere far away and if they played Live 8 it was going to make it nearly impossible to play the next day's gig. Theyre playing at Clapham Common tommorrow which is a stones throw away from the Hyde Park where they held the London show. So I dont know what that story is about... UB40 were excellent! James Brown is playing mid week as there is another show up in Edinburough during the G8 summit...
