The madonna interview on the BBC was fun!

She was wide eyed, talking about recording her new album, having a holiday with her kids, questioning Bob about WHAT this Live8 was going to be about etc.

I've always had a HUGE crush on Sting. The guy is forever young. AND he is such an amazing musician. His MTV performance was great!!

Dayum I want THE POLICE to reunite!!!!! I saw a dvd of one of their last concerts, and all em were great. Stuart Copeland is an awesome percussionist. (I kinda had a crush on him, too.) Andy Sommers is low-key, but is still a really good guitarist.

did anybody else think Annie Lennox was the absolute show-stealer so far with her performance? O.M.G.

Can you believe ~ MTV announced her then talked through the whole thing ~ never even had a shot of her on stage. I think I hate them almost as much as ticketmaster. 8 hours of broadcast and I'm thinking 4 of it is commercials (did someone forget to tell them this was a monumental worldwide charitable event) 3 hours of interview/talk and the meager rest ~ music. What a poor showing ~ they could've been heroes here!

She can't extend the notes anymore. "I've finally found my waaaaay" becomes "I've finally found my wa-ay-ay-ay-ay-ay".

And she was also completely exhausted after just 1 song. WTF?

Mariah sounds great so far. Go Mariah!!! Now she's singing Hero. I'm happy for her after the BET awards when her voice was off: maybe she WAS just holding back to protect it. She sounds nice and clear right now.

She sounded strained on "Hero". Now we get WBT. Let's see if they let her synch the last note.
