I've had this video for a few months and while I really think it's pretty cool, I just don't get it. Does anyone have an explanation?

Well, I'm not a native English speaker and when I looked up the word 'linger' in the dictionary I had no idea how that translation could have anything to do with the song. I was only 12 back then, my English has improved since then. So I think it's about how she is crazy about him and he knows that whatever he does she will love him ('wrapped around his finger'), but then she starts to realize that he's abusing her love for him. He's lying and cheating on her. He could have gotten all her love but he blew it and she starts to realize he isn't worth her love.
That's how I see it.
