You're an idiot...The Fugees were a breath of fresh air when they had their original run...and Lauryn Hill's solo success made history as her album was the fisrt Hip-Hip album to become "Album Of The Year"...That sister can sing and can flip lyrics with most of the best MCs out there...

loved the Score. loved Lauryn. liked Wyclef's first solo as well. always thought that if you took out Pras, and just smooshed the Miseducation into Carnival, with Lauryn's brilliant lyrics and overflow of substance and replaced the dry production and beats with the wet warmth of Wyclef's imagination on his first release (since he doesn't really have one worthwhile thing to say via a lyric), you'd have a really really really fantastic outcome.

The Fugees were good, but if you ask me (and you did by starting this thread ), their contribution to hip hop is overstated. And that cover of Killing Me Softly was played out! That's not their fault. What is their fault is that terrible "one time...two time" bullshit that ruined an otherwise okay cover.
