Well I like "36 lovers"

Also I like a few tracks off "straight down to business" album. Even if some of it was newjack flavoured, it still sounded dated.

But "cat thang" "panties and drawers" and the superb "Yo thats alot of body" are good though.

Iam just not into that side of 80's rnb much.

When I downloaded this song years ago, I thought it was an 80's Prince song.

I remember thinking "I love Prince, but this song is SHIT."

I was relieved to find out it wasn't him.

The long version of "Digital Display". The guitar work is right up there with Prince and Jesse Johnson. I read somewhere that they're getting back together. Melvin Riley is actually a good singer when he sings with his real voice.

I'm not hip to the long version. I do like their first album, though. Their second, I thought, was weak. I saw them in concert at Magic Mountain of all places. Around early 86. The place was packed with girls. Funny story: I went with a couple of cats and before the show, me and this other dude kept getting asked all these dumb as questions by these white girls like "Are you guys in the band?" And I was like "Huh?" "I know you guys are. We can tell." And I was like "You can? How?" "We just can." Me and homeboy was like "DAMN! Ain't that about nothing!" I finally said "Babygirl, look. If we were in the band, don't u think we would be up on stage right now and not standing down here with ya'll?"
It had to be the hair, cuz I was sporting a serious "Jessie first album" curl, but longer. Homeboy was looking like a crazy version of Controversy Prince with a curl. I should say a "crazier" version since P looked crazy as hell back then.

The dub version is slammin'! It's stripped down to that bad ass Prince sounding drum machine repeated over and over.
