Field Maneuvers Funk Sargent Philippe Wynne rescuing dance music from the blahs'.
"Uncle Jam wants you to funk with him la da dee da dee dee dee dee da" I can imagine Philippe performing this song live, not having the chance to see him perform in concert. Although the scenes from the movie:When We Were Kings, with the Spinner's doing I'm Coming Home and Philippe sweating profusely throwing down hard. This was the 1st Funkadelic LP I got as a kid, so this is special to me. It was funny hearing Phillipe sing on my dad's Spinners LP's (love them too) to switchover to this. He had a great voice and brought some more humour to the Mob on this one. Good pick. | |
