Yeah, it seems like everyone except for Gladys has gone off key, some worse than others. I love Mariah but the huge sets... I thought she was going to do a whole Broadway number or at least segue into Shake It Off/Say Something. The breath control on that song is just too damn taxing.

exactly, Gladys has beeen the best tonight. nod

Ciara. She did a combo of Oh and 1,2 Step. I think Lauryn Hill is closing.

Tito came out on behalf of the family and thanked everyone for their support and prayers.

No other mention of Michael but Missy wore a shirt with Michael's face from the OTW days. Looked like Rock With You with aviator sunglasses. I think the back up dancers may have had something on too but hard to tell.

Hmmm, in the post show they asked Gladys how she felt about Michael and the verdict and she said it's been really hard for her because she knew him since he was a little boy. She feels we (the public) took from him and he didn't get much back. She said (and I'm paraphrasing) if he has a problem then he should get help, not (people saying) just throw him in jail. She also added that he's really sick and they should come out with that. The interviewer asked you mean with his back and stuff but Gladys only repeated, 'he really is sick but that's not for me to announce that's for his family to say'.

Well, didn't she just announce it by saying he's really sick and by indirectly implying it has more to do than his back problem? Anyhoo...

what about pre-show, when people walked down the red carpet, they had to have asked about michael and what they thought about everything thats happened to him. was tito greeted with applause? thats one thing im scared of, is if michael or any other jackson gets booed.

The dancers actually looked like they had Prince on their shirts circa 1982 from the 1999 album. The show was not bad but too many people were lip-synching. And y'all are right, too much pyro. I missed the beginning so I have to catch it when it re-airs but the best part for me was seeing Teena Marie give the tribute to Rick James. She wasn't faking the funk, she was being real and I knew it. Plus, Stevie Wonder getting down! That had me rolling but it's never bad to see Stevie on any show. Will and Jada were aight but nothing special. I hope they get Mo'nique again next year. Overall, not a bad award show.

I don't think you have to ever worry about us black folk booing Michael Jackson or his family. There is just too much history behind them for that to happen and all that they contributed to black history. No matter what's happened recently, he has a place in history that can't be erased and can't be ignored. Period

I hate the song with a passion and the performance was just as bad, but I'm not gonna go into detail as to why I hate the song. How could you understand a word coming out of Beyonce's mouth when she's singing at rapid speed. And it's just something that irks me about a singer pulling people on stage.

Fellow Orgers, I have to speak the truth on what I witnessed
tonight b/c there were certain moments and artist that stuck out in my mind from this particular event. For starters, Beyonce and company really put it down with the lap dance action razz . Also, I must say that I was impressed with the flow that Mike Jones and his homie Slim Thug was throwing down from the dirty dirty. In addition, it was interesting to see Steve Wonder getting his groove on at the end of his song. Furthermore, I was very touched by the heartfilled and soulful tribute that Soul Sista Teena Marie put down in honor of Slick Rick R.I.P. Rick tombstone. Last of all, I enjoyed the conclusion of the show where Steve song Happy Birthday in honor of BET 25th Birthday and Will did his thing to let everybody know that he can still get down
.

Terence is such a bad boy, you can see it in his eyes. He's sexy and a darn good actor. drool3

Gladys was great he voice sounds the same as it years ago. She was so comfortable on that stage and performed with such ease. And her acceptance speech was awesome.

It was funny when Will was stripping for Jada. But for real, note to will and jada: We get it you're married.

I missed the lauryn/ fugees performance. pout

And definitely let his tongue find it's way onto some part of her torso--- he looked like he wanted to stop the dance and keep the lap. lick
