Tango in the Night (1987)

i needed something to once and for all dislodge Stevie Wonder's Hotter Than July from my cd player

but there's no new music out there these days that I'm into or much old stuff that i don't have

then i remembered how great Fleetwood Mac are and what a sexy voice Stevie Nicks has so decided to pick up Tango in the Night

...am really loving it, just what I needed

what do other orgers think of this album? i'd say it's not too far off Rumours and Tusk, a great 80's pop album.

i really must come up with more attention grabbing headings before i post here again

maybe something like "fleetwood mac suck" with some kind of humourous emoticon would've done the trick

anyway, shops close in 1 hour

i must go and purchase Mirage now

onwards and upwards...

Not really a fan of Fleetwood Mac, but I really do like this album; Little Lies, Seven Wonders, Big Love, and Everywhere are all top notch singles. Even though it's really dated, I really like the late 80's production on it.

Love the singles "Little Lies" and "Seven Wonders". "Big Love" was really good too.

Bought the album last year. Love it.

"Mystified" will leave you breathless...

Excellent album.

I gotta disagree. I hate the way she sings "what's the matter baby" over and over on that song.

I love the way she sings "Seven Wonders".

"If I live to see the seven wonders, I'll make a path to the rainbow's end".

That song should have been a bigger hit.

I have to go back and listen to all my Mac CDs.

I have ALL the CD's that Stevie's on. Yes, even 1990's "Behind The Mask".

I like just two on songs on BEHIND THE MASK...

In the back of my mind

and

THE SECOND TIME (this song actually makes me cry)

Someone mentioned buying MIRAGE...this is a must-have just for Stevie's song "Straight Back" (The dream is not over...the dream has just...begun...")

Yeah, it's a decent pop album. Certainly better than Mirage but not as good as their 70s stuff. Little Lies and the title track are my faves.
