It was a medley. And a #1 song in the U.S. in 1988 I believe. The woman in the group sang the "Baby I Love Your Way" part of the medley which was the first verse and chorus and the man sang the "Freebird" part which was the second verse. Will To Power were a Miami-based freestyle dance act and this track was their big crossover hit. They had another top ten U.S. single a few years later with a remake of 10cc's "I'm Not In Love".

If you mention that song anywhere near my dumb older brother he'll automatically go off on the woman's enunciation during Freebird. "She sings it 'and this buhd will never change.' It's Skynard! You gotta say biRd!" Anyway...Send for Me - Atlantic Starr

They were all big dance hits. I thought I'd tell you first and save you the embarrassment of asking.

They sound like a second-rate Midnight Star though. "I saw a woman with major Hammer pants on the subway a few weeks ago and totally thought of you." - sextonseven

The other singles were dance hits only so unless you went out to clubs in the late 80s or listened to crossover radio at the time, you probably didn't hear them.

Never heard this one before. It's a keeper. What's it from? and what are the rest of the tracks like? If I keep something, I like to purchase the cd but not sure if I want a whole lot of that. It's from the John Lennon album Double Fantasy, an album that I don't have as an adult, but as a child it was in constant rotation in our home. It won the Grammy for best album that year, a fact that had just as much to do with his death as it did the content of the album (it was released just a month before his assassination). It's a good album with some classic tunes (Woman, Watching the Wheels, (Just Like) Starting Over). The better ones are composed by Lennon, but half of the album is composed by Yoko Ono. Her tunes aren't bad (Kiss Kiss Kiss is the best of them), but they're a distraction; they're so different sounding from the rest of the album. The file I have is labeled Lennon and Yoko. I assumed he had something to do with it. Anyway, curious to hear more of Loko Yoko. Why do you like playing around with my narrow scope of reality? - Stupify
