He's done Like A Rolling Stone as well, hasn't he. And Drifters Escape. Haven't heard Can you please crawl out your window, because I'm not that fond of the original, but it's pretty hard for Jimi to sound bad smile

That's from...

...BBC Sessions

I don't have it nor have I heard it in a while.

The Dlyan covers in order of preference based on the tunes I have are...
1) Like A Rolling Stone - live from The Monterey Pop Festival
2) All Along The Watchtower - Electric Ladyland
3) Drifter's Escape - South Saturn Delta

I probably should pick up BBC Sessions.
He jams with Stevie Wonder (drums) on 2 cuts.

That one's cool. The second best of the 3.

But there are two others!

He also does "Drifer's Escape" (studio version) on the South Saturn Delta CD and "Like A Rolling Stone" from Monterey Pop.

Oh damn, looks like someone beat me to it, edit.

Jimi was a Dylan freak. He's said Dylan's lyrics influenced him greatly. I wonder if they ever met?

Yeah, they did. Dylan told Jimi that he dug his version at Monterey. Hey SPYZ, man, u have to come over to the Music and More section. There's some cats over there talking some STUPID shit about how P and Hazel and Chuck Berry aint shit. I just checked them though. I invited them over. They feel comfortable talking that noise over there with all those girls and kids cuz they know none of them are going to say anything. All that shit backfired when I chimed in.

Yeah, on the threads "Prince Solos are wack" and "P is underrated as a guitarist". That usually turns into them talking head about Hazel and that's when I end up bombing on em'! I may let them slide depending on what they say about Prince. Even if they get carried away talking too much bad noise about P, then nah, it's over. But Hazel, Isley and Jimi?!!! Bombed on! No warning either. I drop my nice guy side.

Youth is wasted on the young sometimes. They don't want to know better. disbelief
