Both I feel, are great albums. But, I do lean towards 'Too Hot To Handle' cuz of "Boogie Nights". Although I LOVE "Grooveline" on Central Heating.

...The Best Of Heatwave

Don't have either of the other albums anyway. confused

All I know is "Night We Fell" is one of their best cutz!! Oh..and for the record...Rod Temperton was a writing beast!!! Check out some of MJ's songs .....they are actually Rod.

Both albums are classics, but I gotta go with the first album 'Too Hot To Handle'.The grooves are faster and funkier ("Super Soul Sista","Boogie Nights","Beat Your Booty","Ain't No Half Steppin") and there are some amazing midtempo jams and ballads here ("Sho Nuff Must Be Love","All You Do Is Dial").

"Star Of A Story" is heavenly.Such an amazing song! Did you ever hear the George Benson remake from 1980? It's just as powerful, imo.

[quote]Holy shit...I was just listening to Central Heating last night. Star of the Story, Leaving for a Dream, and Send Out for Sunshine are my joints. Star of the Story is a gorgeous song and ridiculously underrated.
