new album completed- 23rd june 2005
sigur rós's new album, which has not yet been named, has been recorded and mixed. the album contains ten songs and is currently being mastered in new york. it is expected to be released in the autumn. we will notify you of the confirmed release date, as well as other details regarding the album, as soon as we have them.

yay! i love me some sigur ros, though i hope their next album is a departure. i love their stuff so far, but i have a fear that they could start getting samey if they don't expand their sound just a bit.

Word round the campfire is that this is their final album...

Got a feeling they will experiment with more electronics on this album...
due to collaborating with radiohead and mum in the past.. they already have on the babatiki thing..

First heard them in 1999,

saw (or rather 'experienced') them in 2000,

and looking forward to the gig at Somerset House in London on July 10th
